It doesn’t matter whether you are born here or you are just a visitor. Once you meet Kolkata, you belong to it. This photographers’ city embraces one and all and becomes a part of their lives. This spirit of Kolkata is captured through lenses of photographers from the city and also from beyond borders, and the city gets wrapped by these shots. Kolkata is celebrated through photography like never before.
Kolkata Unseen is a large-format photography display across the city by photographers who have an attachment to the city. The photos have been crowd sourced and curated by the Kolkata-based collective FOTOJAJS.

Kolkata Unseen is presented & curated by FOTOJAJS, a Kolkata-based photography collective. They concentrate on Street, People, Culture, Daily Life and Documentation that essentially involves a living element in the frame. Under the mentorship of Joydeep Mukherjee, FOTOJAJS organizes Photography Workshops in Kolkata as well as in various destinations, Artist Talks by eminent photographers of international photo scene, regular Guided Photo Walks for young enthusiasts as well as foreign photographers coming to Kolkata in search of the unusual frames from this city which is also known as photographer’s paradise and also Commissioned Assignments in different genre of photography.
