VISUAL ART
ACROSS THE CITY

Working with Artists and Sculptors to create permanent installations in public spaces across the city.

Integrating with CIMA Awards Week, and art exhibitions at Goethe Institut, Kolkata Centre for Creativity.

PARASCAPE

Based on stories and people uncovered by The Kolkata Festival Team, artists have worked with some communities living in the city and transformed the stories into artistic expression. These creations celebrate the diversity of Kolkata and its unique para cultures. The stories and experiences that shape life in the paras of Kolkata are in turn brought to life in this unique artisitic collaboration.

KOLKATA UNSEEN

Kolkata Unseen is a large-format photography display across the city by photographers who have an attachment to the city. The photos have been crowd sourced and curated by the Kolkata-based collective FOTOJAJS.

AMAZING LIVE PERFORMANCES

Spread across the city over the entire festival, we have exciting concerts and dance programmes.

These are by celebrated musicians from Kolkata and for the people of Kolkata, free to attend, open without any restriction, using public spaces of the city.
